Project Brays Completion
Harris County Flood Control District and Galveston District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers celebrated the completion of Brays Bayou Federal Flood Damage Reduction Project, better known as Project Brays.
Located in Precinct 4, this project is the largest flood damage reduction program undertaken by Harris County Flood Control District to date and reduces flooding risks by widening approximately 21 miles of Brays Bayou from the Houston Ship Channel to Fondren Road.
