Suspect Arrested For DWI With Children In Vehicle
On November 30th, 2021, deputies with Constable Mark Herman's Office conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 6600 block of Greenyard Drive.
The driver was identified as Amanda Perez, who displayed multiple signs of intoxication.
Standardized Field Sobriety Tests were administered and it was determined that she was intoxicated.
Further investigation revealed that she had two children in the vehicle, ages six and nine.
Child Protective Services were contacted and advised the facts of this case.
The children were released to their grandmother.
