Two Burglary Suspects And Recover Stolen Property

On July 21, 2021, Deputies with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to several reports of a Burglary to a Motor Vehicle in the area of Lake Front Circle in The Woodlands, Texas.

A Shenandoah Police Department Officer arrived in the area to assist and witnessed a silver Chevrolet Tahoe in the Luby’s restaurant parking lot drive away from a parked vehicle and exit at a high rate of speed.

The Shenandoah unit observed the parked car had a broken window and began to follow the Chevrolet Tahoe and radioed this information.

MCSO Deputies joined with the Shenandoah unit on Lake Woodlands Drive where a traffic stop was initiated on the vehicle in question.

The suspect vehicle failed to stop for Deputies and a pursuit was initiated.

The pursuit continued into Harris County, at which time Deputies with the Harris County Sheriff’s Office deployed vehicle spikes that punctured the suspect vehicles tires bringing the vehicle to a stop.

Two suspects fled from the vehicle but were later found by a Montgomery County Precinct 3 Constable K-9 and a Harris County Constable K-9.

Detectives with the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office responded to the scene and discovered five firearms and a lower rifle receiver were stolen along with other personal property.

The suspects, identified as Christopher Thomas and Cameron Bullen, were arrested and transported to the Montgomery County Jail where they were charged with Burglary to a Motor Vehicle, Theft of a Firearm, and Felon in Possession of a Firearm.

This collaborative effort is an example of excellence in communication and the strategic deployment of resources between multiple surrounding law enforcement agencies.

A big thank you to the Montgomery County Pct 3 Constables Office, Harris County Sheriff’s Office, Shenandoah Police Department, DPS and Harris County Constable Pct 4 for their assistance in the apprehension of these suspects.
